Wrath of the Lich King is on our doorstep. By 13/11/08 most of us will be facing the ice-cold tundra’s of Northrend. I wish everyone a great time during the process of levelling and tuning your character(s).
Last month we said goodbye to our Guild Leader Amelas. It where sad times seeing him leave but I’m sure Niobe will do a great job and she can count on the support of the officer team.
Greetings,
Martin

The holliday season is over and raiding is really starting up seriously again. I'd like to thank all fanatic raiders to have had the patience in the silent raiding period. We did try some runs to MH with reasonable succes, but in the end it prove to still be a bit too hard.
Niobe, Connair and Mihoshi have been welcomed in the officer team. Again grats on your promotions and you've allready all been a great help for the guild. Unfortunately we had to say farewell to one of our most fanatic guildies. Damian, goodluck on your study and thanks for the great time in our guild. We allready miss you.
This week we've set our focus on new bosses in Serpentshrine Caverns. Our target for the coming time is to keep focus on SSC, with some side runs to T4 content to help gearup some people. The last runs have proven that we are stronger then ever before. Exciting times are ahead! Ofcourse the expansion is on our minds, but it shouldn't make much difference in the way we raid. One thing all raiders like is a challange, and that's what Prides management will continue to deliver by setting up challenging raids.

Lately it's been a time of ups and downs. More runs then we wanted had to be cancelled and we had a hard time in TK, wiping on Al'ar. Even in the end people still had good morale, so I think this shows what we are made off, we're no quitters! :D
We have now mostly sorted the signup problem by getting a few new people in and encouraging people to come to raids.
This week we have proven that we are still strong, actually stronger then ever before. Gruul and Mag one-shot, Solarian down easier then ever, and we learned to kill Voidreaver without addons, leaving about 2 minutes left before the enrage timer. Thumbs up for all and keep it up!
The coming time we will put our focus on SSC again, though there will be sideruns inbetween to bosses which we can kill easy, to spead up the gearing up. By request Damian has also put up one more run to Mount Hyjal. It's fun and we know we can get to -and kill first boss!

Since January much has happened. We've welcomed new people to join us in our fight against evil. Even while we didn't raid as much as some had wanted, progress was very good. Magtheridon was downed without too much problems before the patch, and since we learned it the hard way he's now a complete walkover.
In SSC we made our first kill, and in TK:The Eye we allready killed two bosses. Especially the last weeks all bosses seem to die really fast.
Sometimes Martin had just made a new graphic of our next target to kill and then he allready had to replace it again, sry we kill them so fast m8.
Damian has started leading Zul'Aman runs, and with great succes! Allready four different bosses have been killed. Zul'jin is getting within our grasp.
For our new raiders Charmedone has started up the Karazhan runs again, gearing them up and giving the much needed experience in raiding before attempting the more difficult instances.
I don't think we could have wished for much more. We've raided with a great atmoshpere and with much succes.
Ofcourse there is always room to improve. The coming time the officers will be looking into on how to be able to fill the raids better, so we don't have to cancel as much raids again. Expect a new rank for our active raiders to be revealed soon, giving some extra advantages.
Thanks to all who gave gifts to the guild vault, we've just bought our last possible tab. Thx bigtime peeps. I'll keep selling certain items like spare epic patterns to get more money in. This will be used to improve the raiding.
Lady Vashj should be getting scared! Also expect a few extra runs to Mount Hyjal to grab some patterns and to give a shot at the first boss, the blood lich Rage Winterchill.

Gruul the dragonkiller is no more! Maulgar was again one-shotted with ease, a prelude of what was going to happen with Gruul himself. On the first try a few players died early, though Gruul just survived. On our 3rd try he must have really felt his impending death and so we finished the job! Grats all on a very exciting kill, and as always also a big shout out to the people who made it happen but couldn't attend this run.
As promised, we will now start with other 25 man instances. There are no attunements for Tempest Keep, Serpentshrine Caverns and Magtheridon. We will start by attempting specific bosses in The Eye (TK) and SSC as some are doable while others are too hard atm. After that Magtheridon will follow as it should be a very intense exciting fight, and lets people complete their T4 sets. Tactics will be posted on the forum.

We are now officially kicking butt in 25 man instances! On our first evening with a group of 25 people we killed High King Maulgar and got Gruul halfway down. Our latest officer Damian also started leading fun runs to pre-tbc instances. He's lead us to victory clearing the whole AQ20. It's allready clear that this is going to be another great year with a lot fun for the guild!

The website is up again after being suspended by the webhost. Some hacker used a leak to send spam through the website's mail system. Unfortunately our webhost was not reachable till this late morning, so that's why it took about 24 hours before the website could be activated again. Now it's just waiting to see if I fixed the leak succesfully.

We have succesfully started our second raiding team. Our newcomers have proven to be a strong addition and with a little help of veterans the 2nd Kara team allready rocks. We have set the ladder a bit higher and our new goal is to do 25 man instances as a guildonly group. The coming time will stay focussed on Karazhan to gearup. Zul'Aman will sometimes be planned as an extra run.

This guild keeps surprising me. Last Friday we downed 3 bosses including The Wizard of Oz without a single wipe. But all that is still nothing compared to yesterday, we downed The Curator on the first shot! Awesome job all!
We will keep going on the road we have taken, but it may also including 25 man raids starting with Gruul's Lair soon.
